Rick Speir – Owner, Director of Operations

Rick has over 35 years working for Speir Heating and Air. He began working in the family business in high school and continued through college. After college he became a full-time employee managing the installation department and service department. With the passing of the company’s founder, Herbert Speir, Rick took over running the day to day operations of the company. He attained his State Warm Air License and was certified as a NATE technician. He is certified as a Duct and Envelope Verifier, served as a member of the Advisory Board at Central Georgia Technical College in the Air Conditioning department, and was an instructor at CGTC in air conditioning. He has attended numerous continuing education classes throughout his career at Speir Heating and Air. These classes include: Understanding basic and updated service techniques, ductless installation, service and maintenance, Universal EPA certification, Installation and service of variable speed products, installation and service of VRF equipment, Manual J load calculation certified, understanding air flow principles and many other classes through the years.

Denise Speir - Accounting

Denise has worked for Speir Heating and Air in different capacities. She worked part time for 18 years, but the last 22 years have been spent as a full time employee. She holds an Associate Degree in Applied Science and has various certificates in Income Tax Preparation. She also has certificates in HVAC Customer Service, Sales, Dispatching, and Management. When she is not working, she enjoys visiting flea markets, watching her favorite television show “American Pickers,” watching UGA football, and spending time with her family.

Larry Pfannkuche – Installation Manager

Larry has over 36 years in the HVAC industry, 35 of which came with Speir Heating and Air. Larry is our Installation manager, overseeing the successful operation of new construction homes and replacement jobs. When he’s not working, he enjoys everything car and truck related, drag racing, and watching Georgia Bulldogs football.

Clay Hoyt – Service Manager

Clay has worked for Speir Heating and Air for 8 years. Clay finished the HVAC program at Central Georgia Technical College with honors. He also holds EPA, NATE, and VRF certifications. When he’s not at work, Clay enjoys camping, hunting, and cheering on the Atlanta Braves and Georgia Bulldogs. 

Micah Speir – Lead Installation Technician

Micah has worked for Speir Heating and Air for 6 years. He has earned his VRF certification and NATE continuing education certificate. He currently serves as the lead installation technician, overseeing on-the-job processes for new installation jobs. When he’s not working, he loves to hunt and fish, and watch Georgia Bulldogs football. 

Eric Hammaker – Installation Technician

Eric has worked for Speir Heating and Air for over 25 years. Eric has worked exclusively as an installation technician, giving him a tremendous amount of experience. When he’s not working, he loves spending time with his dogs.

Jason Jones – Installation Technician

Jason has 18 years in the HVAC industry, and 5 years with Speir Heating and Air. Jason works with our installation team, ensuring successful installation of new HVAC systems. When he’s not working, he enjoys mining!

Juan Rebollar – Installation Technician

Juan has 20 years in the HVAC industry, and 4 with Speir Heating and Air. Juan is an installation technician, he works hard to successfully install new equipment for our customers. When he’s not working, he enjoys his favorite sport – soccer. 

Marcos Paredes – Maintenance Technician

Marcos has over 3 years’ experience as a maintenance technician with Speir Heating and Air. EPA certified, he works to maintain optimal performance of our customer’s HVAC systems. When he’s not working he enjoys cheering for his children at their sporting events. When they aren’t at a field, he enjoys watching anime and playing video games with them. He also enjoys drawing. 

Samuel Speir – Marketing Development

Samuel has 9 years’ experience working part-time for Speir Heating and Air in various roles. EPA certified, he has experience recycling old HVAC systems, leading warranty claims, job-costing, and working as a maintenance technician. Currently, he serves to develop social media and marketing strategies. A graduate of The University of Georgia, he enjoys attending various Bulldogs sporting events.

Aaron Wood – Office Administrator

Business assistant Aaron is in his first year with Speir Heating and Air. He is serving as a dispatcher and business assistant. Aaron has work experience as a Manufacturing / Trade show Manager and a Retail Manager  for different companies. Having earned his Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management at the University of Georgia, he proudly represents the Bulldogs. When he’s not at work, he enjoys watching the Atlanta Braves and likes to spend time with his wife and dogs.

Jacob Barkley – Service Technician

Jacob has 2 years of experience in the HVAC industry and is currently in his first year with Speir Heating and Air. Jacob has education from Central Georgia Technical College, has a universal EPA certification,

and an OSHA certification. When He is not working, he enjoys  cheering for the Atlanta Braves, playing video games, and working out.

 Austin Langford – Installation Technician

Austin has over 5 years of work experience in different service industries, working as a Service Advisor and Technician. He’s currently in his first year with Speir Heating and Air working as an Installation Technician. He attended high school at Houston County  and college at Georgia Southwestern State University. When he is not  at work, he loves hunting, fishing, and watching the Atlanta Braves.

 Tripp Linton – Tripp is just starting out his tenure with Speir Heating and Air. He has HVAC experience from Lennox NAS and has previously served in the US Army! He is EPA 608 Universal certified,  and HVAC Technician certified from Central Georgia Technical  college. When he is not at work, he enjoys cheering on his favorite teams: the Braves, Falcons, and Georgia Bulldogs. He also enjoys  playing video games!
